The Nielsen Group joins Engel & Völkers

The Nielsen Group, based in the greater Seattle area, recently joined Engel & Völkers Kirkland.

The team, which consists of Sean Nielsen, Ashley Stevens and Mari Moline, was formerly with Realogics Sotheby's International Realty. The group has 25 years of real estate experience and an annual sales volume of more than $50 million. 

With this move, the Nielsen Group is now the top-producing Engel & Völkers team in Washington state according to a news release from the company.

Billion-dollar South Florida team joins KW

The independent real estate firm Laurie Finkelstein Reader Real Estate announced that it is joining Keller Williams.

The announcement was made on Feb. 19 during Keller Williams' Family Reunion event, held in Anaheim, California. The firm has 104 real estate agents and 20 staff members.

During the past two years, Laurie Finkelstein Reader's team has sold more than 3,100 homes in the south Florida area, equaling $1.3 billion in sales.

"The values and culture of Keller Williams reflect who we are," said Reader. "Joining forces with Keller Williams is like coming home. We're excited to leverage the brand's powerful referral network, models and systems to expand further and faster across the U.S."

As a real estate business coach, Reader has also helped many entrepreneurs build and grow real estate businesses nationwide.

Leading New York brokers partner with Side

Real estate brokers Charlie Homet and John Brandon announced the launch of their new firm Archpoint Advisory earlier this month.

The team, serving the New York City metro, has partnered with Side in support of their new endeavor.

"Our goal is to bring together like-minded, exceptional brokers who will create highly personalized, tailor-made experiences centered around trust and transparency for all of our future and prospective clients," said Homet in a news release.

With a combined 33 years of real estate experience, Homet and Brandon said they believe becoming a boutique brokerage backed by Side will allow them to stay nimble, while allowing them to remain autonomous when it comes to their clients and sales process. The Archpoint Advisory team serves buyers and sellers with a focus on downtown Manhattan and Brooklyn.

The Real Estate People team joins Corcoran Icon Properties

The Real Estate People team of San Jose, California, recently joined Corcoran Icon Properties

"As a great start to 2023, we are delighted to bring this team of professionals into the Corcoran Icon Properties family. This group's reputation is solid and truly representative of what we look for in our continued growth," said Steve Belluomini, President of Corcoran Icon Properties, in a news release. "Our values are well matched, and we look forward to a long and vibrant future together."

The Real Estate People team has 40 agents with an office in San Jose. Founded in 1990,The Real Estate People closed $47 million in sales volume in 2022.

Corcoran Icon Properties has more than 900 agents across 25 offices. The franchise was formed in December after Corcoran Group cut ties with Global Living following a series of lawsuits alleging fraud and other claims. 

Arizona team joins Platinum Living Realty

The Inspired Living team, which has four agents and is led by Laura Jewett, has joined Platinum Living Realty, an independent brokerage with three offices in Arizona.

According to the Scottsdale Independent, Platinum Living Realty has attracted 30 new agents in the past year.

Jewett, who has been in the industry for 22 years, said in the article that they decided to join Platinum because of the owners' philosophy on business and the way they ran the firm.
