People on the Move: Livian, Real bring on seasoned execs
Thad Fisher, former eXp, Anywhere and Zillow leader, joins KW's Livian platform; Christian Wallace named first chief of integrated home services at Real.
Editor's note: As an industry with millions of agents and over 100,000 brokerage companies, new leaders rise to the top every day. Here we highlight executives and other notable leaders who've recently taken on, or stepped away from, roles that influence the residential real estate landscape.
KW's Livian platform has a new SVP
Livian, a platform for growth-oriented agents and teams, has named Thadious "Thad" Fisher senior vice president of revenue.
Fisher joins Livian from eXp, where he was VP of global growth focused on international expansion. His real estate career also includes stints at Anywhere (as Realogy), where he served as VP of global development, and Zillow, where Fisher was a senior business advisor for the company's enterprise sales division.
Livian, which entered into a partnership with Keller Williams in 2021, has been focused on growth and currently serves 67 real estate teams across 31 states. So far this year, the company's 790 agents have closed $1.6 billion in sales volume. The platform aims to increase agent and team productivity through its suite of marketing, lead generation, conversion, recruiting and training tools.
In his new role, Fisher will be responsible for developing and overseeing strategic growth efforts for Livian as a whole as well as the growth and expansion of individual teams.
Livian President Jon Boller — who joined the company in July — called Fisher "a proven industry trailblazer" who will play a pivotal role "in growing our agents' businesses and accelerating Livian's expansion."
Fisher expressed his eagerness to help Livian's teams "vastly elevate production."
"As the revenue leader, the opportunity to drastically impact the state of our industry is a privilege," said Fisher. "Livian agents are the highest caliber of professionals who will continue to create a momentous shift in customer experiences around the world."
Real announces first chief of integrated home services
The Real Brokerage has created a new role focused on its consumer-facing products, naming Christian Wallace chief of integrated home services.
Wallace was most recently an executive VP at Rocket Homes leading business development and customer experience initiatives. She began her industry career as a real estate agent, and previously worked at Better.com as the head of real estate services and at Opendoor as a region home advisor director.
In her new role at Real, Wallace will be focused on consumer tools and the transaction lifecycle, and her hiring coincides with Real's push to streamline the homebuying experience. The company unveiled its new consumer app, the One Real app, at its annual conference today. The app allows agents to invite their clients to apply for a mortgage, get preapproved quickly and close on a new home within two weeks when using One Real Mortgage.
In commenting on Wallace's hiring, Real CEO Tamir Poleg emphasized the company's commitment "to revolutionizing the homeownership journey from start to finish for consumers," noting that "Christian brings the unique combination of being an agent who has also built the customer experiences at some of the leading disruptors in the real estate industry, all of which are in the race to change how people buy and sell homes."
For her part, Wallace noted that "there are a lot of companies looking to make it easier for consumers to become homeowners," but Real's acquisition of mortgage and title businesses has been a boon for agents and clients. "As someone who is obsessed with creating the best experience imaginable, Real provides the runway to change the game for consumers," said Wallace.
