HomeServices announces 'second phase' of leadership changes
HomeServices is continuing to adjust its leadership team following the promotion of Chris Kelly, who was named president and CEO of the brokerage giant after Gino Blefari stepped down last month.
Alex Seavall, who has served as HomeServices' CFO for nearly six years, has expanded his role to include operations.
In his new position as chief financial and operations officer, Seavall will oversee the company's finance, IT, franchise services and relocation divisions, among others, according to a press release.
Seavall's "ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive performance has helped move our organization forward," said Kelly, adding that Seavall's new title "reflects the impact he already has across our enterprise."
HomeServices also announced this week that Candace Adams, previously CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England Properties, is stepping into the executive vice president role vacated by Kelly.
Adams will work with other HomeServices brokerage leaders to help strengthen "the connectivity and effectiveness of our companies nationwide," Kelly said. He noted that, in her former role, Adams "consistently delivered results by investing in people and fostering collaboration."
As Adams assumes her EVP responsibilities, Brenda Maher will become the new president of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England and New York Properties, with Adams staying on as chair.
RE/MAX welcomes new SVP of sales and service
Daniel Dennis is stepping into the senior vice president of sales and service position at RE/MAX, bringing nearly 20 years of industry experience to the company's executive team.
Dennis' "leadership and operational expertise align perfectly with our mission and vision," CEO Erik Carlson said in a press release.
Prior to joining RE/MAX, Dennis served in brokerage leadership positions including president of Illustrated Properties Real Estate in Florida and CEO of a Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices affiliate in Alabama. He oversaw growth and recruitment in his earlier roles and will assist with RE/MAX's expansion efforts while leading the company's sales team.
Dennis "is an accomplished industry leader with a strategic, results-driven mindset and a passion for supporting brokers and agents," said Chris Lim, who joined RE/MAX as its new chief growth officer in January. Dennis "will strengthen our operations and reinforce our dedication to affiliate success across the network," Lim added.
Finding success in real estate "isn't just about tangible aspects like technology or transaction support — it's also about the intangible, emotional connection that drives decisions," Dennis said, adding that he is "excited to continue fostering these environments and empowering REMAX affiliates to deliver their best to their clients and communities."
