Florida Realtors rolls out digital signing tool
Florida Realtors, the largest state Realtor association in the U.S. and creator of the Form Simplicity transaction management platform, has launched an in-house e-signature tool available to real estate professionals nationwide, the organization announced this week.
Called Sabal Sign after Florida's state tree, the sabal palm, the tool is integrated into Form Simplicity Ultimate Edition and "eliminates third-party integrations or extra logins, providing a seamless experience from document creation to final signature," according to the 238,000-member trade group.
The tool offers unlimited usage, mobile-friendly workflows, cost savings compared to third-party products, team permissions, reusable templates, audit tracking and long-term document retention, the association added.
"Sabal Sign was created with member input — built by Florida Realtors for Florida's Realtors and Realtors everywhere — to provide reliable mobile functionality for seamless, secure online signatures," 2025 Florida Realtors President Tim Weisheyer said in a statement.
"We see Sabal Sign as more than a tool. It's a reflection of our ongoing commitment to delivering high value to our members," he added.
Broker loses director role over Kirk comments
Mark Sivek, a broker who was elected to the Las Vegas Realtors board of directors earlier this month, has resigned his 2026 and 2027 director position following comments he made on social media about the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
Sivek, who later apologized for the comments, had referred to Kirk as a "despicable human being," writing, "The world is a better place without him."
"LVR and its leaders do not condone hateful or potentially hurtful speech," said George Kypreos, Las Vegas Realtors' 2025 president, in a statement.
"Such public comments are contrary to LVR policy and the Code of Ethics all Realtors are sworn to uphold, and they will be addressed through the processes in place."
The trade group has also removed Sivek from appointed positions at the association. Sivek's former employer, Realty One Group, has disaffiliated from him, according to multiple news reports.
HAR.com adds commercial listings
HAR.com, operated by the Houston Association of Realtors, now features commercial real estate listings, the trade group announced Monday.
The listings come from CommGate, HAR's commercial information exchange. Their addition means "HAR.com is now the source to explore all real estate options," HAR.com Chairman of the Board Mario Arriaga said in a statement.
