50-agent team joins Real in 'right move for long-term success'
The Real Brokerage has further expanded in Southern California with the addition of Freeman Wang, a real estate professional with 11 years of experience who is moving his team of 50 agents under the Real banner by way of Harvest Realty.
Harvest Realty, a firm with more than 550 agents serving clients in Los Angeles and Orange counties, joined Real earlier this year through its Private Label program.
Wang, who led his team to close $425 million in sales last year, is primarily focused on agent development, according to a news release. The speed at which teams scale at Real is part of what appealed to him. "This was the best choice for my agents, giving them more tools, more opportunities and more support," he said, adding that aligning with Harvest Realty also "strengthens our connection to the Chinese community."
"It's the right move for long-term success," Wang said.
Real Chairman and CEO Tamir Poleg described Wang as "a respected leader with a track record of performance and community leadership" and said his "decision to align with Harvest underscores the strength of our Private Label model and the value we deliver to teams who want to grow with the right partners."
Acquisition brings 250+ agents to Corcoran affiliate
Corcoran Group affiliate Corcoran Sawyer Smith has acquired Liberty Realty, an independent firm that has operated in New Jersey's Hudson County since 1995.
With the addition of Liberty's over 250 real estate professionals, Corcoran Sawyer Smith's total number of affiliated agents now tops 500, according to a news release.
Over the past 30 years, Liberty Realty has conducted business in the residential, commercial and investment property space. After developing a reputation "built on relationships, trust, and unmatched local expertise," the firm is ready for "an exciting new chapter," Liberty Co-founder Joseph Covello said.
The new partnership "will allow us to provide our clients and agents with even greater resources while preserving the family-oriented culture and personalized service that have always defined Liberty Realty," Covello added.
Corcoran Sawyer Smith Principal and Founder Sawyer Smith described Liberty's agents as "among the most knowledgeable and dedicated professionals in the region" whose "commitment to excellence mirrors our own values perfectly."
"Together, we will set a new standard for real estate service in this market," Smith said.
The Agency enters 2 new markets
The Agency has announced the opening of two new offices in New Mexico and Texas — one of which marked a major milestone for the luxury-focused brokerage.
Santa Fe: The Agency celebrated the launch of its 150th office earlier this month with its entry into New Mexico.
Hitting that growth milestone "is an incredibly exciting moment for our team," The Agency Founder and CEO Mauricio Umansky said in a news release.
Beth Caldarello, a broker with nearly 10 years of local experience, will head the office as its managing partner. She described Santa Fe as "a special place" that provides homebuyers with an opportunity to become "part of a warm and creative community."
"Santa Fe is one of the most distinctive and desirable places to live in the Southwest, making it a natural choice for The Agency's continued expansion in the region," Umansky added.
Waco: The Agency has also opened an office in Waco. The new location, which is the brokerage's seventh in Texas, will be led by Managing Partner Amanda Cunningham and Managing Director Matthew Cunningham.
The city "offers the warmth of a small town with the amenities and energy of a major metropolitan hub," Amanda Cunningham said in a news release.
"From its scenic natural landscapes to its strong schools and thriving local businesses, Waco is a place where people truly want to put down roots," she added.
Waco's sustained growth and location have positioned it "as a premier destination for today's buyers," Umansky noted, making it "a clear and compelling next step in our continued expansion across the state."

Luxury agents to 'continue pushing boundaries': Local Luxury | Christie's International Real Estate is setting out to create "one of the most powerful luxury real estate alliances" in Arizona with the addition of Maximilian de Melo and Patrick Niederdrenk, agents with a collective lifetime sales volume that exceeds $1 billion, according to a news release.
Together, de Melo and Niederdrenk are bringing 12 additional team members and contributing $175 million in luxury inventory to the Phoenix-based firm.
The move will provide their team with a global reach and new opportunities for their clients, marking "a strategic evolution of who we are, how we serve, and the scale at which we operate," Niederdrenk said.
"This alignment allows us to continue pushing boundaries and redefining what luxury representation means in Arizona," de Melo added.

The firm aims to do the same in Salt Lake City, with initial plans to add 30 agents in 2026.
Cubis said his team is "incredibly excited" to offer Salt Lake City consumers a real estate experience "grounded in collaboration and client service."
