Editor's note: The brokerage business is a busy one, with frequent moves, mergers and milestones. Here we highlight some of the latest activity among brokerages across the U.S.

Christie's Lone Star adds $42M North Texas team

Christie's International Real Estate @properties Lone Star has picked up Koberg Real Estate Group, a seven-member team led by Will Koberg.

The team, which closed over $42 million in sales in 2025 and specializes in luxury estates, will be based out of the company's Frisco office, according to a news release.

The move provides the Koberg team — which has already drawn attention for its video-focused marketing approach — with access to Christie's proprietary tech, global network and marketing infrastructure. It also "enables us to improve the client experience by helping us scale intelligently, expand our reach, and amplify marketing impact," Koberg said.

Jerry W. Mooty, Jr., CEO & principal of Christie's Lone Star, praised Koberg's "infectious personality and work ethic," both of which he said "are key factors in his success."

Gaining access to the Christie's network "will only extend his reach and presence in a competitive environment," Mooty said of Koberg, adding, "We are not only here to win for our clients, but give them a fantastic experience, and Will is going to have a lot of success."

BHGRE picks up Mountain State affiliate

Real Estate Limited, a Summersville, West Virginia-based brokerage, has affiliated with the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate brand and will now operate as Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Kris & Co., the company announced this week.

Kris Lilly, Broker/Owner, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Kris & Co.

The firm has served central West Virginia for more than 35 years. Broker/Owner Kris Lilly, who has led the company since 2019, is a two-decade real estate veteran with prior leadership roles at the Fayette-Nicholas Board of Realtors and the West Virginia Association of Realtors, according to a news release.

With Lilly at the helm, the brokerage has created a strong presence in Nicholas, Fayette and Raleigh counties. They have "done a fantastic job at carving out their own niche and expertly serving their region," said Ginger Wilcox, president of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate.

Lilly, who described real estate as her "passion," said it has been her mission to "build a company that values the human aspect of the business as much as I do" — and she believes this affiliation will "help us elevate our firm without sacrificing" its identity.

$300M Boston team joins eXp

eXp Realty announced this week that it has welcomed the Lisa Sevajian Group, a 10-person team that operates in the Greater Boston area under the leadership of Lisa Sevajian.

The team boasts over $300 million in combined career sales with about 1,500 transactions closed, according to a news release. Through their decision to align with eXp, the Lisa Sevajian Group is "proving that $300M in volume is just the foundation," eXp Realty CEO Leo Pareja said.

"Lisa doesn't just close deals; she curates excellence," Pareja added. "Now, she's building a legacy that is leaner, faster, and more globally connected. We are thrilled to be the home for her next chapter of innovation."

Sevajian, who previously led Compass' operations in Andover, Massachusetts, described the transition to eXp not as "starting over" but as "starting smarter."

"We're building something that works better for our agents, our clients, and our lives," she added.

Howard Hanna welcomes $250M 6-agent team

Howard Hanna Real Estate Services has announced that the Coulter & Castillo Group is joining its office in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania. The six-agent team, which was founded in 2021 by Lauren Coulter and Dina Castillo, boasts over $250 million in career sales, with $41 million in closed sales in 2025, according to a news release.

Previously affiliated with Compass, the team — which also includes Abby Daniels, Meagan Brannon, Christi Fredrick and Robbie Snyder — specializes in Pittsburgh's South Hills communities. Their strategy leans into exposure and is driven by their strong social media presence, the brokerage noted.

Howard Hanna's company culture, focus on agent involvement and hands-on management style were key factors in the Coulter & Castillo Group's decision to join the indie firm, according to Coulter.

"Clients recognize and trust the Howard Hanna brand," Coulter said. "The company's local roots, family ownership and deep market knowledge made our clients comfortable and excited about the transition."

The addition of the group comes on the heels of Hanna's expansion into Philadelphia through its partnership with Art Herling, a local industry veteran who brought over 100 agents with him to the firm.

Real Brokerage has announced that Ken Pozek, an agent leader and founder of The Pozek Group, has joined the firm's board of directors. The move, according to Real, reflects the firm's belief that agents "should have a direct voice" in guiding the company's path forward. Pozek, who brought his 38-agent team to Real last fall, said in a news release that joining the board enables him to represent agents "in a meaningful way." Pozek, who will remain in his CEO role at The Pozek Group, is Real's ninth board member.

Coldwell Banker Realty-Gundaker is welcoming Kristin Sprague back into the fold in Chesterfield, Missouri. Sprague, who started her real estate career at the firm over three decades ago, said in a news release that returning "feels like a natural next step" for her business. Sprague's 25 years of local market experience and dedication to her clients will "strengthen our ability to deliver exceptional service," Coldwell Banker Realty Regional VP Brian Ellswortth said, adding that her return "is a tremendous asset" to the team.
