New AI features offer coaching tips, lead nurturing and client conversation management. Plus, 5 more Realtor associations partner with Tether RE.
Editor's note: Technology is a driving force in real estate. From startups to established players, tech companies are constantly innovating, growing and forging partnerships. Here we highlight some of the latest news about the companies that help power the industry.
AI personality assessment tool aims to improve coaching
AI conversation analysis platform Shilo — a startup that closed its seed-funding round last June — has introduced Signals, a new feature that analyzes agents' call recordings to generate personality insights and coaching recommendations.
Signals builds DISC-style behavioral profiles using patterns from real conversations — rather than self-reported assessments — to identify motivators, fears, conflict style and communication tendencies. Each insight is tied to specific calls and includes a confidence score, offering team leaders visibility into how conclusions are formed.
The tool is designed to address uneven coaching across real estate teams, where standardized training may not align with individual agent behavior. Signals continuously updates profiles as more calls are analyzed and delivers tailored coaching suggestions based on observed communication patterns, according to a news release.
The system is trained on more than 21 years of aggregated talk time across more than 7,000 agents and over 3 million calls, the company said.
"We don't suggest blind trust of AI in the same way we usually wouldn't suggest blind trust of another person without the historical backdrop that proves trust," Shilo Co-founder and CEO Justin Benson said. "Each signal is given a transparent confidence score and backed by cited evidence from previous conversations you can click into and verify."
Current Shilo customers can access Signals now at no additional cost.
Lofty launches AI lead-nurture feature
Lofty has introduced Homeowner Agent, a feature within the company's agentic AI operating system that is designed to identify and nurture seller leads from agents' existing databases.
The tool monitors contacts in a CRM, analyzes signals tied to selling intent and automatically delivers personalized property and market insights. It uses home value, equity and local activity data to engage contacts and surface listing opportunities without manual outreach, according to a news release.
Homeowner Agent also classifies leads based on likelihood to sell and adjusts its outreach strategy based on consumers' behavioral signals, such as engagement with listings or valuation requests. When a homeowner takes action, the system can shift the lead to a "Hand-Off" stage and pause automated messaging.
"With Homeowner Agent, we're extending the power of our Agentic AI Operating System and providing agents with a fully autonomous pipeline builder that works their database all day every day and keeps them top of mind to win seller listings," Lofty VP of Growth Andrew Wild said.
Rechat unveils conversation intelligence tool
Rechat has introduced AI Memo, a tool that captures, transcribes and structures client conversations while providing agents with coaching insights. The feature is available to all Rechat customers at no additional cost, the company announced this week.
AI Memo allows agents to record meetings or dictate voice notes after conversations with their clients, then converts the notes into summaries, key takeaways and suggested next steps, with coaching guidance provided by Rechat's AI assistant Lucy. Notes are automatically linked to contacts, deals and marketing records within Rechat, eliminating the need for manual data entry, according to a news release.
The product is designed to address gaps in recall and follow-through — particularly for agents managing multiple client interactions. "The agents who win client relationships aren't ones with better memory," Rechat VP of Strategic Growth and Communications Audie Chamberlain said. "They're the ones with better systems. AI Memo is that system."
Because the tool exists within Rechat, there is no barrier to entry, Chamberlain added. "You turn it on, and every conversation from that point forward has a record."
Agent safety platform added 5 association partners in Q1
Tether RE entered five new Realtor association markets in the first quarter of the year, moves the real estate safety platform says reflect the industry's heightened focus on agent well-being.
The company's newest partners are: Greater Philadelphia Association of Realtors (GPAR) — which added the tech in February — Pike/Wayne Association of Realtors (PWAR), Prince George's County Association of Realtors (PGCAR), Western Magic Valley Realtors (WMVR) and Enchanted Circle Association of Realtors (ECAR). All five associations are offering the platform as a member benefit.
Tether RE provides a variety of tools — including identity verification, live monitoring and real-time emergency response — that are designed to support agents during open houses, property showings and similar activities. The platform integrates with agents' existing workflows to encourage adoption while addressing safety and compliance considerations, according to a news release.
"Associations are investing in member safety in a more meaningful way than ever," Tether RE Co-founder and CEO Scott Martin said. "The conversations we're having aren't just about features — they're about balancing Realtor safety with consumer privacy rights, Fair Housing compliance, and layered protection that covers agents where they're most vulnerable."
