Real adds teams in Arizona, Canada

The Real Brokerage brought two new teams into the fold this week: one in the Southwest and another in the Canadian province of Ontario.

Randy Anaya, Equity Realty Group; Lorraine Jordan, Team Jordan | The Real Brokerage

In Arizona: Equity Realty Group, a 65-agent team led by Randy Anaya, has joined Real in a move that expands the brokerage's footprint in Phoenix's Southwest Valley.

Founded as an independent firm in 2009, Equity operates across Avondale, Goodyear, Buckeye, Litchfield Park and Tolleson, closing about 420 transactions annually that total roughly $191 million in sales volume. The team is known for its bilingual service and relationship-focused approach, according to a news release.

Anaya, who entered real estate after high school, built his firm with an emphasis on culture and long-term client relationships — but he recognizes that the industry "is shifting."

"I believe technology-based brokerages represent the future," he said. "Real has built a business model that is proving successful at scale and creating meaningful opportunities for agents."

In Ontario: Team Jordan, an 18-member group with 10 agents, has joined Real in Midland, Ontario, with a focus on clients in the Simcoe County and Georgian Bay areas.

Led by Lorraine Jordan, the team has completed more than 10,000 transactions totaling $3.9 billion since forming 21 years ago. Team Jordan emphasizes education, client preparation and hands-on support — including helping sellers prepare their homes through decluttering and repair services, according to a news release.

Real provides Team Jordan with "greater freedom to innovate, more possibilities for our agents and ultimately a better experience for our clients," Jordan said, adding that she is "especially excited" about how the company is implementing AI tools "in a way that helps real estate professionals blend their knowledge with technology to serve people even better."

Arizona merger unites 400 REMAX agents

REMAX Fine Properties and REMAX Solutions have announced a merger, a move that forms a single statewide brokerage comprising more than 400 agents across 10 offices in the Grand Canyon State.

Jamie Wong, Broker/Owner; Dan Porter, Managing Partner | REMAX Fine Properties

The combined firm will operate as REMAX Fine Properties, with locations in Avondale, Flagstaff, Glendale, Munds Park, Peoria, Pinetop, Scottsdale, Gilbert and Tucson. Jamie Wong, who served as managing partner and broker/owner of REMAX Fine Properties prior to the merger, will remain in her role. REMAX Solutions owner Dan Porter will serve as the firm's managing partner and advisor, according to a news release.

The move builds on REMAX Fine Properties' earlier 2026 merger with REMAX Professionals, the release noted, further expanding its scale and service footprint across the state.

"We're thrilled to bring together two powerhouse brokerages into one unified organization," Wong said, adding that the combined firm is "elevating what's possible for our teams and our clients."

"This merger opens the door to more opportunities for our agents and helps us build a more powerful foundation for long-term growth," Porter added. "Combining our teams, leadership talent, and resources positions us to deliver even greater value to both our agents and clients."

$25M team joins Compass

Compass has welcomed the Luvene Realty Group, a nine-person team led by Shauny Luvene. The addition expands the brokerage's presence in the Milwaukee metro area, with the team set to be based out of Compass' Bayside office.

The Luvene Realty Group, which closed over $25 million in sales in 2025, was formerly aligned with Keller Williams. The group has become known for its client-focused approach and works with both first-time buyers and experienced sellers alike.

Luvene described her team's decision to join Compass as "a pivotal step in our mission to elevate the real estate experience in Milwaukee."

"The combination of the cutting-edge technology at Compass and our team's deep-seated passion for this community will allow us to serve our clients and our industry with even greater impact," said Luvene, who is also a leader at For The Culture, a nonprofit supporting Black real estate professionals.

"It's bigger than real estate — we will improve the health, wealth and overall quality of life by building a more equitable future for the Milwaukee Metro area," she added.

MYNY is a newly independent brokerage launched this week by the leaders of Coldwell Banker Reliable Real Estate following 18 years under the Coldwell Banker umbrella. The rebranded firm will serve clients throughout New York City, Long Island and the Hamptons, with offices in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Long Island, according to a news release. MYNY Principal Joseph Hamdan said the move came as part of a larger decision "to build something that actually works for New York," adding, "We're shaping the company to better reflect how this market actually works, and to give serious agents a platform that fits how they operate."

The Beverly Hills Estates has launched a new subdivision called The Malibu Estates, which will focus exclusively on Malibu's luxury housing market. Prior to the launch, the firm led by Branden Williams and Rayni Williams had already closed about $500 million in sales in Malibu, with the creation of this new subdivision serving as "a natural next step" for its growth, according to a company announcement. The office will be run by Branden and Rayni Williams along with Trevor Wright.
