Editor's note: Technology is a driving force in real estate. From startups to established players, tech companies are constantly innovating, growing and forging partnerships. Here we highlight some of the latest news about the companies that help power the industry.

HouseWhisper adds AI lead nurturing and routing tools

HouseWhisper has expanded its AI real estate platform with two new products — Lead Engine and Rules Engine — designed to automate lead outreach, routing and follow-up for real estate teams, the company announced today.

Lead Engine uses AI-driven conversations to re-engage contacts and nurture leads based on a consumer's profile, behavior and responses, while Rules Engine gives team leaders tools to route leads by criteria such as ZIP code, price point, language and agent availability, according to HouseWhisper.

The platform offers highly customized interactions and "remembers details and resurfaces them at the right time in the conversation," CEO and Founder Luis Poggi said, adding that "this level of real-time personalization has never been available in real estate before."

The tools are also designed to connect consumers "to the right agent as soon as possible," Poggi noted, because "immediacy wins in real estate."

For brokerage and team leaders, the platform also provides more "visibility into response times, stalled leads, connection rates, and routing analytics to help optimize lead flow and team performance," according to a news release.

The rollout comes as AI assistant tools gain traction across residential real estate, with many companies positioning the technology as a way to streamline administrative work rather than replace agents outright.

"We build AI to help the professional and the family get it right, together. The more we educate buyers and sellers on the process, and the more we free agents to guide them with full attention, the more confidently people make the most important decisions of their lives. That is the work," Poggi said.

HouseWhisper launched in February 2025 with backing from three Zillow alumni: Poggi (former Zillow VP of product and engineering), board member Spencer Rascoff (Zillow co-founder and former CEO) and CTO Alex Kutner (former Zillow engineering leader).

The startup said it has since added more than 250 teams and 7,000 agents to the platform.

Cloze expands SkySlope integration with forms support

Cloze and SkySlope have expanded their integration to allow agents to create and complete SkySlope Forms directly within Cloze, a move the companies say is intended to streamline workflows from lead management through transaction paperwork.

The enhanced integration allows agents to generate pre-filled buyer agreements, listing agreements and purchase offers from client or property records in Cloze, with contact and listing information automatically populated. The update also supports voice or text commands through Maia, the AI assistant Cloze launched last fall, and includes transaction syncing, document signing alerts and automated reminders tied to closing anniversaries, according to a news release.

Integrating SkySlope Forms is "the most significant step" the companies have taken together in their five-year partnership, according to SkySlope CEO Tyler Smith.

"Agents can now move from managing a relationship in Cloze to completing their transaction paperwork with SkySlope without breaking their stride," Smith said, adding that he believes agents "will feel the time-savings immediately."

Hive MLS launches SSO dashboard

Hive MLS has announced the launch of Relevate's SSO Dashboard for its network of more than 21,000 users across the Southeast. The move gives subscribers a centralized portal for accessing MLS tools, member benefits and other resources.

The dashboard, which went live earlier this month, is designed to simplify access for agents and brokers across the MLS's multi-state footprint following years of growth and consolidation. Users can find courses, event registrations, affinity programs and other services through a single login, with permissions tied to subscription type and user role.

The platform also provides Hive MLS with administrative tools for identity and access management, targeted communications and engagement analytics.

"For the first time, every user across our network logs in to one unified, secure dashboard personalized to their benefits," Hive MLS CEO Daniel Jones said in a news release. "That is community, collaboration, and connectivity in action."

Relevate said the rollout reflects growing demand among MLSs for unified member management and authentication systems as organizations expand across multiple markets.
