Editor's note: Technology is a driving force in real estate. From startups to established players, tech companies are constantly innovating, growing and forging partnerships. Here we highlight some of the latest news about the companies that help power the industry.
Inside Real Estate offers automated compliance review
Inside Real Estate is adding automated compliance reviews to BoldTrail BackOffice, giving brokerages new ways to streamline transaction operations.
Developed with SetWave, ComplianceAI checks transaction files as they are submitted, validating required fields and signatures, flagging missing or inconsistent information and cross-referencing the full transaction packet. Results are displayed in visual compliance reports and update automatically within BoldTrail BackOffice, eliminating the need for a separate tool or login, according to a news release.
"Brokerages shouldn't have to choose between a powerful platform and compliance they can trust," Inside Real Estate CEO Joe Skousen said. "ComplianceAI brings that compliance directly into the workflow our customers already use, catching issues before closing instead of after."
Inside Real Estate also announced the upcoming launch of BackOffice MCP, a move that will provide AI assistants with a secure connection to brokerage transaction and back-office operations.
After ComplianceAI, BackOffice MCP "is the next step: a brokerage where an agent can open a transaction, prep the paperwork, and get it signed just by asking, all inside the system they already run on," Skousen said.
MoxiWorks partners with Cloze to sync agent contacts
MoxiWorks has announced that it is integrating its RISE relationship intelligence platform with Cloze, allowing brokerages using both systems to sync contacts and activity between the platforms and reduce duplicate data entry. MoxiWorks said the integration is part of its broader plan to expand the RISE ecosystem throughout 2026, with transaction management integrations in the works.
The partnership gives agents access to RISE campaigns, presentations and automations for contacts synced from Cloze, while RISE activity is shared with the Cloze Intelligence Engine to maintain a complete view of relationships and activity, according to a news release.
Agents' Cloze contacts will now "show up in RISE automatically, ready for campaigns, presentations, automations, and follow-up," leaving agents "with nothing to manage but the relationship itself," said Krista Hannahs, MoxiWorks' principal product manager of integrations.
Cloze joins RISE's existing ecosystem of integrations, which includes Canva, Promote, MoxiWorks' digital advertising platform powered by Evocalize, and RateMyAgent. The integration is available now to agents, offices and brokerages using both platforms.
RealPage unveils AI suite with 'shared understanding of real estate'
RealPage has announced the launch of its new Lumina AI Suite, a governed intelligence platform that connects property operations, portfolio analytics, institutional intelligence and data access across real estate.
The suite includes Lumina Workforce for AI agent execution, Lumina Ascent for operational intelligence, Lumina Atlas for institutional intelligence, and Lumina Connect for governed data access. It is built on the Lumina Intelligence Layer, which functions as a central, connected database of more than 4 billion real estate entities, with rules in place to keep that data clean and consistent, according to the company.
It was developed in part using technology RealPage gained through its recent acquisition of Cherre. In a news release, RealPage President and CEO Dirk Wakeham said the new suite "delivers" on the next stage of enterprise data.
"The Lumina AI Suite works from one consistent view of the data and one shared understanding of real estate, so the AI agent helping an operator fill a vacancy and the analysis guiding a fund's next acquisition are reasoning from the same source of truth, all on an architecture designed to scale across every asset class," Wakeham said.

Zillow is expanding its advertising platform to Pinterest, allowing brands to target 34 housing-related consumer segments using behavioral data from Zillow users. Through the partnership, Zillow will make audience data based on more than 200 housing-related signals available through Pinterest Media Network Connect, Pinterest's ad platform. The move enables both companies to "unlock advertising opportunities that extend well beyond either platform's core experience," Zillow said in an Aug. 12 blog post, adding that brands will now be able to "build smarter, more targeted campaigns."
Restb.ai has partnered with apprAIz to launch an AI-powered workflow that uses computer vision to help appraisers capture property details from and populate UAD 3.6 reports during inspections. The workflow analyzes property photos to identify characteristics, condition, quality and improvements, providing structured insights that can populate up to 90% of a UAD 3.6 appraisal report. The technology is designed to reduce repetitive data entry, improve report consistency and help appraisers work more efficiently while maintaining independent analysis and professional judgment, according to a news release.
