Pinkwater Metzger Team joins 'the best' in luxury real estate

The Pinkwater Metzger Team, led by Julie Pinkwater and Will Metzger, has joined SERHANT, expanding the New York City-headquartered brokerage's presence on Long Island's East End.

Pinkwater and Metzger bring about  20 years of combined real estate experience and backgrounds in New York City media and advertising, careers that have informed their approach to understanding clients and developing marketing strategies, according to a news release.

The team was previously aligned with Douglas Elliman in the Hamptons and has recorded more than $160 million in career sales, with almost $20 million in closed sales reported in the past year alone.

Changes in the luxury real estate market and SERHANT's position in the sector were both factors that made the decision to join the firm "clear" for Pinkwater and Metzger, they said.

"As the luxury real estate market rapidly shifts, staying with the best is essential," Pinkwater added. "We believe SERHANT is leading the pack."

Longhorn Realty, which was founded in 2010, recorded about $40 million in sales last year. As part of the acquisition, the firm will start operating as Coldwell Banker Apex's Longhorn Farm & Ranch Division, with its owner and entire team joining the brokerage in the move.

The acquisition expands Coldwell Banker Apex's land and ranch presence as the company pursues growth opportunities in the region. The firm has become the brand's top woman-owned firm and Coldwell Banker's No. 1 affiliate in Texas and Louisiana, with $4.6 billion in residential and commercial sales recorded in 2025, according to a news release.

"With Coldwell Banker Apex's growth in Central Texas, we wanted to enhance our land and ranch presence in the region," said Lori Arnold, owner of Coldwell Banker Apex. "Longhorn Realty was a natural fit, bringing not only the expertise we were looking for but also a shared culture and values."
