Editor's note: Technology is a driving force in real estate. From startups to established players, tech companies are constantly innovating, growing and forging partnerships. Here we highlight some of the latest news about the companies that help power the industry.

Zillow co-founder launches new company AnyProp

AnyProp, a new venture created by Zillow Co-founder Spencer Rascoff in partnership with Lawrence Zhou and Lee Lin — co-founders of the search portals RentHop and RealtyHop — has officially launched after spending the past two years in development and testing.

The proptech, which provides MLS data infrastructure to real estate brokerages and software companies, announced last week that it is opening its MLS Data API nationwide. The API pulls data from hundreds of MLSs into a single interface, simplifying data access for brokerages and teams working across multiple markets, according to a news release.

AnyProp, an approved IDX, VOW and BBO vendor with every major MLS across the U.S., was designed to "make nationwide MLS infrastructure dramatically easier to access and maintain," the company said.

The startup has been refining its product "in stealth" since its co-founders landed on the idea in 2024. The platform was initially tested by companies within the co-founders' own networks, including the second home co-ownership platform Pacaso (another Rascoff project), whose feedback shaped development, AnyProp said.

"We turn what can otherwise become a very complicated combination of data feeds, hosting, licensing, and compliance into a much more manageable problem for a brokerage with a relatively small engineering team," Zhou said. "Our customers can spend their resources on their core real estate business instead of managing a massive in-house software infrastructure project."

BoldTrail adds Roomvo visualization to listing pages

Inside Real Estate has partnered with Roomvo to add the platform's AI-driven room visualization to BoldTrail listing pages, giving buyers a way to preview design changes using a home's actual listing photos.

By selecting "Restyle," buyers can now see what the inside of a home would look like with different flooring, wall colors, countertops and more without leaving the listing page or downloading a different app. BoldTrail listings that have Roomvo enabled have received up to 170% more showing requests, according to a news release.

Roomvo said it is expanding its visualization capabilities to include furniture, appliances and fixtures. The tool is designed to help buyers explore a property's potential, including homes that may not be move-in ready in their current condition.

The partnership makes Roomvo available across BoldTrail listing pages, giving brokerages using the platform a visualization feature within their existing listing experience. "Our work with other portals has shown listings with Roomvo enabled driving up to three times the showings booked," Roomvo CEO Pawel Rajszel said. "We expect BoldTrail brokerages to see similar results as buyers put the tool to use."
