Editor's note: As an industry with millions of agents and over 100,000 brokerage companies, new leaders rise to the top every day. Here we highlight executives and other notable leaders who've recently taken on, or stepped away from, roles that influence the residential real estate landscape.

Nick Bailey joins AI company's founding team

Nick Bailey, a longtime real estate executive with nearly three decades of industry experience, has joined AuthoritySignal AI as a founding member. Bailey will help lead the company's strategy as it develops tools to measure real estate professionals' visibility in AI-generated search results, according to a news release.

Bailey, who will focus on growth and industry strategy at AuthoritySignal AI, was most recently chief real estate officer at T3 Sixty. He previously held several brokerage leadership roles, including president and CEO of REMAX and president and CEO of Century 21, and served for five years as SVP, industry & partner at Zillow Group.

AuthoritySignal AI said its platform is designed to help agents, teams and brokerages assess how AI systems recognize their expertise and identify opportunities to improve their digital presence as consumers increasingly use AI tools to find agents.

"For years, real estate professionals have focused on how they rank in traditional searches. AI is fundamentally changing that equation," Bailey said. "Consumers are beginning to ask AI who they should hire, who knows a particular market and who they can trust. AuthoritySignal AI gives agents and brokers a way to understand whether they are showing up in those conversations and what they can do to strengthen their position."

The proptech company's other founding members are Jeanette Schneider, senior strategic advisor for partnerships and growth, and Magnus Sublett, business strategist.

Premier Sotheby's reshuffles branch leadership

Southwest Florida powerhouse Premier Sotheby's International Realty, a brokerage company with more than 1,200 agents across 40 offices in Florida and North Carolina, has made new managing broker assignments across its Sarasota and Central Florida offices.

Carrie Prieto will take over the firm's Sarasota and Longboat Key locations, Andre Williamson will oversee two Orlando offices and Patricia Kant will helm a third office.

Prieto previously led the brokerage's Orlando and Ocala offices for eight years and has more than 20 years of real estate experience, according to a news release. Williamson joins the company as managing broker of the Southwest and Southeast Orlando Orlando offices, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in brokerage leadership, recruiting, agent development, training and operations. Kant will lead the Ocala office while continuing to oversee Seminole County and Port Orange. She has served as a managing broker with the company for more than 10 years.

Premier Sotheby's President Jackie Thiel described Prieto as "an engaged leader and coach with a strong focus on advisor growth" whose tenure with the brokerage "positions her to build on the established strength of the Sarasota and Longboat Key offices."

Thiel cited Williamson's Central Florida market knowledge and advisor development experience as key factors in his appointment, and said Kant's "expertise and high standards" would be an asset in a "growing luxury market" like Ocala.
