The Speicher Group, led by Peggy Lyn and Chris Speicher, has joined forces with The Real Brokerage.

The D.C.-based 20-person team, which includes 15 agents, brings an impressive track record from their time at Long & Foster. Recognized as a top real estate team by Washingtonian Magazine for seven consecutive years, the Speicher Group boasts over 100 years of combined real estate experience and $1 billion in sales. In 2022, the team closed more than 200 transactions valued at $100 million.

Peggy Lyn's career spans three decades, marked by over 2,000 sales and consistent placement among Long & Foster's Top 100. Chris transitioned to real estate 15 years ago after a career in marketing, and co-founded the Speicher Group with Peggy Lyn, focusing on growth strategy, financial management and marketing excellence. Chris Speicher was also a founding member of Zillow's Agent Advisory Board.

"We are excited to be joining a company like Real that values the revenue-generating potential of self-sustaining teams like ours and is focused on building a culture and brand based on collaboration," Chris Speicher said.

The Speichers also oversee two teams outside the D.C. metro area: Speicher Group of Coldwell Banker Island Properties in Maui, and Speicher Group of Northrop Realty serving Delaware's Fenwick Island.

NY luxury team reunites with Compass

Aaron Seawood and Team Carte Blanche have rejoined Compass after a stint with The Agency.

The New York-based team serves a high-net-worth clientele including athletes and celebrities, and is eager to expand to additional luxury markets. In addition to Seawood, team members include Andrew Pritchard, who worked in luxury fashion and private wealth management before transitioning to real estate, and Priscilla Diaz, who has a background in the entertainment industry and property management compliance.

Together, the team members are bringing more than $55 million in listings and $26 million in off-market properties to Compass.

During his previous time at Compass, Seawood was a founding agent of the brokerage's Sports & Entertainment division.

"I'm grateful for my time at The Agency, a killer brand, and even better people," said Seawood. "Now, to have Carte Blanche powered by Compass makes for a seamless experience for our clients, expands our reach into key luxury markets, and reunites me with OG Compass colleagues I call family. A true trifecta."

MG Group expands in Chicago

The MG Group, based out of the Lincoln Park office of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago, is expanding to the Park Ridge neighborhood. The expansion will be led by Nikki Allen, who lives in Park Ridge with her family.

The MG Group, which was established by Chicago native Mario Greco more than 20 years ago, currently serves a number of Chicago neighborhoods, and Greco's career sales top $2 billion.

Greco noted that Allen's addition to the team will be an asset to buyers and sellers in Park Ridge, and the fact that her husband co-owns a long-established home renovation company in the neighborhood is an added bonus and potential complement to the team's real estate services. "This kind of real estate synergy is rare and wonderful, and we're looking forward to watching Nikki as she leads this expansion," said Greco.
