Move Inc., parent company of Realtor.com, has purchased Zenlist, a tool that allows agents to easily share MLS and non-MLS listings with their clients.

"With Zenlist, we aim to deliver a more modern, transparent and cooperative consumer buying and selling experience — at a time when trust, openness and innovation matter more than ever," Anna Marie Castiglioni, head of Realtor.com Next, said in a press release. Terms of the deal were not made public.

Support for office exclusives: The move is also a response to "shifting dynamics" reshaping the industry, Castiglioni said. One significant dynamic is access to private listings, and Zenlist and its partners have for years trumpeted its capabilities in this area.

Major brokerage partners: @properties Christie's International Real Estate, which was acquired by Compass in late 2024, described itself a year earlier as "the first brokerage firm to establish an enterprise agreement with Zenlist."

"With today's inventory being so low, this is an incredible tool to have as a buyer because it grants you the opportunity to see a growing segment of the market that is normally reserved for agents," a blog post by @properties Co-CEO Thad Wong said at the time.

Zenlist's platform also powers eXp Access (formerly eXp Exclusives), an app launched by the cloud-based brokerage in 2023. It is currently being used by more than 35,000 agents and "several leading MLSs" and brokerages, according to the press release. And that apparently will continue.

What Zenlist had to say: "We're excited to join the team at Realtor.com and view this acquisition as an incredible opportunity for our customers and team," said Tom MacLeod, founder and CEO at Zenlist. "By tapping into Realtor.com's trusted brand and scale, we'll be able to enhance our platform, broaden our offerings, and continue delivering top-tier services and tools to even more industry partners and professionals."

Zenlist employees will join the Move, Inc./Realtor.com team, the announcement said.
