Zillow's latest product drop brings five new tools designed to make the real estate process smoother for agents, buyers, renters and sellers alike.

The 2025 Summer Launch includes SkyTour, Offer Insights, Rentals Costs & Fees Breakdown, Tour Itineraries and updates to BuyAbility. These updates simplify home shopping headaches, such as hidden costs and budget uncertainty, while making it easier (and more fun) to browse, plan and tour. With these tools, Zillow is leading the category for the kind of smart, seamless digital experience people expect throughout their real estate journey.

SkyTour gives listings a lift

SkyTour introduces an interactive, aerial view of a home's exterior, letting buyers virtually "fly" around a property from their phone or computer. It's powered by Gaussian splatting — cutting-edge rendering technology that turns drone footage into smooth, 3D experiences.

It's now an exclusive feature of Zillow Showcase and included, where available, at no extra cost as part of a Showcase listing when drone photography is booked through Zillow Media Experts with the Premium package. For agents, it's an easy way to show off a home's layout, lot and curb appeal — especially to out-of-town buyers who want more than just static photos.

💡Agent tip: Stand out from other agents by using SkyTour and Zillow Showcase during listing presentations to show sellers how you'll market their home with immersive tech.

Offer Insights helps turn browsing into action

For agents, Offer Insights brings more move-ready buyers to the surface — those who are using real-time data to explore viable paths to making an offer. It sets the stage for productive, informed conversations about how to approach an offer based on current market conditions. This tool lets buyers and their agents see an estimate of how likely it is that an offer at a certain price will be accepted based on market data, the Zestimate® and recent sales. They can try out different price points and see how their estimated chances shift.

It's a smart way to move from "just browsing" to "ready to offer," and it gives agents a great jumping-off point for real conversations about what's competitive in today's market.

💡Agent tip: Use Offer Insights to frame realistic offer discussions early — especially with buyers hesitant to compete. It helps anchor pricing expectations in market data, not guesswork.

Transparent rentals reduce back-and-forth

Zillow's new Rentals Costs & Fees Breakdown surfaces a more complete view of total move-in and monthly costs on rental listings when provided by the landlord or property manager — including deposits, pet fees and other expenses often buried in fine print. Renters also get access to Zillow's rent affordability calculator to personalize cost estimates.

With nearly all renters (94%) reporting frustration with hidden fees, this added transparency helps build trust — and gives agents working with renters fewer price-shock conversations to manage mid-process. It's especially meaningful for cost-burdened renters navigating tight margins and multiple applications.

💡Agent tip: When sharing rental options with clients, point out listings that include full fee breakdowns. It builds trust and saves time by setting expectations upfront.

Tour Itineraries cut the coordination chaos

Instead of juggling texts and calendar invites, buyers and agents who connect through Zillow can now coordinate showings directly via Zillow's app and site. Buyers can add homes to an itinerary, see what's been scheduled and keep track of what they've already seen.

It's a simpler way to plan tours — and a cleaner way for agents to keep everything on track without extra tools. As 64% of buyers now prefer scheduling tours online, this feature meets the moment and reduces the friction that can slow down an otherwise motivated search.

💡Agent tip: Encourage clients you meet on Zillow to use Tour Itineraries with you — it keeps communication streamlined and shows professionalism during one of the busiest parts of the process.

BuyAbility helps buyers shop within reach

BuyAbility℠ is an affordability tool you can find on Zillow — and it just got smarter. Now, listings show how they line up with a buyer's target monthly payment and their maximum buying power. This way, shoppers can tell right away whether a home is comfortably within their budget — or pushing the limits.

BuyAbility is based on self-reported info and doesn't affect credit. And while it's powered by Zillow Home Loans, buyers aren't tied to any lender. For agents, it's a great way to keep clients financially grounded from the start.

💡Agent tip: Ask new buyers if they're using BuyAbility. It's a simple way to frame early financial discussions and head off surprises before showings or offers begin.

Bringing it home: Designed for how agents really work

Zillow's Summer Launch is all about cutting through complexity for agents and boosting confidence for home shoppers. It's also about solving everyday problems: making tour planning simpler, helping buyers understand costs and giving agents additional tools that support the great work they're already doing.

These tools are now live across Zillow's website and app — and built with your workflow in mind. Availability of offerings and user experience may vary. Included images are simulated. SkyTour is available on select listings.
