Premier Sotheby's goes all-in on marketing; SERHANT nabs $3B team

Premier Sotheby's invests in local marketing specialists
Premier Sotheby's International Realty is refocusing its marketing efforts in North Carolina with the appointment of two local marketing specialists. The brokerage's senior marketing director in North Carolina, Jessica Johnson, is leading the move as Chris Krauss and Hunter Parrish join the firm as advisors.
Krauss, who brings over seven years of real estate marketing experience, will focus his efforts on the Charlotte metro area as a marketing specialist. Parrish, who brings almost seven years of experience, will serve the Asheville, Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk and Linville Ridge areas as a senior advisor marketing specialist. Both Krauss and Parrish will be supported by a nearly 30-person marketing team, according to a press release.
By refocusing the brokerage's marketing strategy and bringing in specialists, "we have answered the call to deliver exceptional, responsive and results-driven service across North Carolina," Premier Sotheby's Chief Marketing Officer Kathy Forrester said.
"These appointments reflect Premier Sotheby's International Realty's continued investment in elite marketing talent and its commitment to advisor success through innovation, service and strategic regional leadership," Forrester added.
SERHANT picks up $3B team
A 13-person team that has closed more than $3 billion in sales in the Washington, D.C., area has joined SERHANT. The addition of The Sky Group follows the tech-focused brokerage's official expansion into the region earlier this summer.
The Sky Group is led by managing partners Anna Mackler and Barak Sky, who each have over a decade of real estate experience. Other members of their team include Rick Morrison, Barrett Starling, Jared Soon, David Guevara, Noah Fields, Kaitlyn Higgins, Omar Vidal, Farhad Chalpapagh, Chris Edwards, Natalia Budyldina and Emely Alvarez.
The team collectively closes over $200 million in annual sales, placing the group in the top 0.1% of agents in the U.S., according to a press release.
Mackler and Sky decided to join SERHANT. because the brokerage's "vision, innovation, and core values align perfectly with where we see the industry headed and with how we run our business," they said in a joint statement.
"We're excited to join a brokerage where we can grow without limits, tap into unmatched resources, and build our brand with unlimited potential," they added.

Engel & Völkers has opened its first office in the Dominican Republic. The new Santo Domingo shop will be led by license partner Manuel Higuera, who brings local experience in luxury homes and new developments as the founder of Level Group DR. Brown Harris Stevens has welcomed Shawnalei Tamayose as the latest addition to its Fifth Avenue office in New York City. Tamayose brings over 13 years of experience in resales and new development. She co-founded the NYC-based APT212 five years ago and has also worked with Compass, Engel & Völkers, Douglas Elliman and Corcoran. Tamayose "embodies everything an agent should be: hard-working, entrepreneurial, creative, and relentlessly client-first," BHS CEO Bess Freedman said in a press release, adding that Tamayose is "a force in the market" who "lifts others up."
