Editor's note: Technology is a driving force in real estate. From startups to established players, tech companies are constantly innovating, growing and forging partnerships. Here we highlight some of the latest news about the companies that help power the industry.

New co-ownership platform aims to simplify shared homebuying

Joynt, a real estate startup designed to help friends and family buy and manage homes together, has launched a shared ownership platform to address affordability and operational challenges in co-ownership, the company said in a press release.

The platform provides tools to support co-owners from purchase through eventual sale, including onboarding, budgeting, scheduling and group decision-making, according to the company. Joynt also offers a higher-tier service that includes legal and financial infrastructure, such as LLC creation, governance tools, automated payments and expense tracking.

The company offers basic services at no cost, including a property hub and limited scheduling and financial tools; a "pro" subscription costs $49/month per ownership share, according to the website, and a one-time $300 setup fee to cover LLC registration.

"Joynt recognizes the traditional path to homeownership doesn't work for everyone, especially as home, family, and community may mean something different to all of us today. Buying property together is tough and managing that investment over time can be even more challenging," Founder and CEO Brett Humphrey said in the announcement.

"Joynt brings clarity to chaos, solving the day-to-day headaches involved as well as offering legal protection, and the financial framework necessary for long-term success," Humphrey added.

SkySlope brings seller disclosure tools to Hawaii

Proptech firm SkySlope has expanded its digital disclosure platform, Breeze, to Hawaii, making the state the seventh to adopt the company's disclosure solution, the company announced on Jan. 22.

Breeze is designed to simplify seller disclosures by guiding users through plain-language questions in a mobile-friendly format, and aims to reduce errors and improve compliance while making the process easier for both agents and clients.

The platform includes built-in compliance tools, real-time revision requests and MLS integration that automatically pulls property data, reducing manual entry. Breeze also connects disclosures to other parts of the transaction, allowing agents to initiate escrow and manage electronic signatures through SkySlope's DigiSign service, the company explained.

With more than 12,000 licensed real estate professionals operating across multiple islands, "Hawaii's real estate market is one of a kind," SkySlope CEO Tyler Smith said in a statement.

"It's made up of vibrant communities that value trust and simplicity. Breeze delivers both, bringing effortless connection to every transaction, across every island," Smith added.

ATTOM launches new AI and cloud data access tools

ATTOM has introduced two new technology offerings aimed at expanding how customers access and use its property data across analytics and artificial intelligence applications, the company announced on Jan. 26.

The ATTOM MCP Server connects AI systems directly to structured property data, allowing large language models and other AI tools to securely retrieve data such as property details, automated valuation models, comparable sales and transaction history, the company explained.

Also unveiled this week is Databricks delivery, which gives customers direct access to curated ATTOM datasets inside their Databricks environment. The approach eliminates traditional file transfers and data ingestion pipelines, allowing teams to query and analyze data immediately once access is granted. ATTOM will manage ongoing data updates and quality, while access is governed through Databricks' enterprise security controls.

"These launches reflect how our customers are building and innovating today," Todd Teta, ATTOM's chief product and technology officer, said in the announcement. "AI teams need a reliable way to bring structured property data directly into their models and applications, while analytics teams want seamless access inside the platforms they already use."

The two offerings reflect ATTOM's broader strategy to improve data accessibility for analytics teams operating in cloud-based platforms, according to the news release.

Local Logic integrates with Rechat to add neighborhood insights

Local Logic and Rechat have announced a new integration designed to bring neighborhood-level data directly into real estate marketing workflows, the companies said on Jan. 28.

The partnership embeds Local Logic's location intelligence into Rechat's AI-powered marketing and content tools, allowing agents to create localized marketing materials within Rechat's platform, including listing presentations, print materials, email campaigns, social media assets and market reports, according to a news release.

Local Logic translates neighborhood characteristics such as walkability, access to amenities, transportation options and overall "vibe" into standardized scores and narratives. Those insights are surfaced alongside property details inside Rechat, reducing manual data entry and helping agents present a more complete picture of a location.

"Location is one of the most important drivers of real estate decisions, but it's also one of the hardest things to communicate clearly and consistently," Vincent-Charles Hodder, CEO of Local Logic, said in the announcement. "By integrating our location intelligence directly into Rechat's marketing tools, we're meeting agents where they already work."

Rechat CEO and founder Shayan Hamidi said the partnership supports the company's goal of simplifying real estate workflows. "By surfacing location intelligence directly within our marketing tools, we're helping agents move beyond generic messaging," he said.

The integration is the latest in a series of deals announced by Rechat in recent months, including partnerships with The Agency, SkySlope and Follow Up Boss.
