Editor's note: Technology is a driving force in real estate. From startups to established players, tech companies are constantly innovating, growing and forging partnerships. Here we highlight some of the latest news about the companies that help power the industry.

SideOS now available to brokerages outside its network

Side has opened its proprietary operating platform, SideOS, to independent and franchise-affiliated brokerages across the industry, the company announced today.

The platform manages back-office operations including compliance, payment processing, agent support, reporting and artificial intelligence workflows while allowing firms to retain their existing branding, licensing and leadership, according to a news release.

Previously restricted to Side's internal brokerage network, the infrastructure currently powers over 600 back offices and handles more than 30,000 transactions annually. The system is designed to reduce administrative complexity for expanding brokerages with multiple locations and hundreds of agents.

"The prevailing story in this industry is that with the market contracting and AI advancing, the only way to compete is to consolidate," said Guy Gal, co-founder and CEO of Side. "I see the opposite. The owners who know their markets and carry the risk themselves are what holds this business together."

Side's platform "exists so all of them can compete at the highest level without giving anything up," Gal added.

Inside Real Estate launches AI workflow platform

Inside Real Estate has introduced Streams Studio, a no-code AI platform that allows brokerages, teams and agents to build automated workflows across the technology tools they already use. The platform is designed to connect customer relationship management, marketing, transaction management and communications systems into a unified AI layer, according to a news release.

Streams Studio enables organizations to create custom AI workflows that span both the BoldTrail ecosystem and third-party platforms, the company said. The launch builds on IRE's earlier release of the Streams app and expands its AI offerings following a recently announced partnership with Buffini & Company.

"The next generation of real estate technology will be defined by intelligent connections between people, data, and systems," Inside Real Estate CEO Joe Skousen said. "Streams Studio puts that power directly in our customers' hands."

The company said the platform is available through an invite-only rollout for select brokerages and teams, alongside technology and coaching partners.

Constant Contact introduces marketing platform for real estate pros

Constant Contact has launched Constant Contact for Real Estate, a marketing platform designed for brokerages, franchises, associations, MLSs and individual agents. The company said the platform combines AI-powered content creation, automation and marketing tools with integrations for existing real estate technology.

The platform is structured to support organizations with brand management and templates while giving agents access to marketing tools through a connected ecosystem rather than standalone applications. It also provides brokerage and franchise leaders with visibility into platform usage and engagement, according to a news release.

"We made a deliberate, company-wide decision to build for how this industry actually works," said Jim Mandala, VP of strategic verticals at Constant Contact. "Marketing should be the thread that connects the technology real estate professionals already rely on, and that's exactly what we set out to deliver."

The company said its new platform is available now.

Breezy opens property evaluation tool to homeowners

Breezy has expanded its Underbuilt Radar service to consumers, allowing homeowners to evaluate the build potential of their properties using live zoning data.

The real estate tech company's web-based tool, which was previously only available to agents, analyzes municipal zoning regulations to calculate buildable square footage, setback requirements, height restrictions and slope constraints for home additions or accessory dwelling units.

Homeowners can generate a report for $89 with email registration by entering their property address on the website, according to a news release.

"One of the biggest challenges when buying real estate is understanding a property's true potential," said James Harris, CEO and co-founder of Breezy. "Underbuilt changes that by removing the guesswork and giving homeowners and buyers the inside track on the full potential of any property."

Cloze is expanding its tech portfolio with the addition of Open House, a new app built using the company's Forge platform. Available immediately to Enterprise customers, the app creates a "Buyer" contact when a visitor signs in at a showing via Open House and flags whether they are already represented by an agent. Open House records the home they visited and when, with potential buyers able to share feedback on the listing within the app, according to the company's website.

Realsy has partnered with Restb.ai to launch a new AI-driven property evaluation platform. The move adds photo-based quality and condition analysis to support pricing and valuation decisions, according to a news release. Through its integration of the computer vision technology, "Realsy can automate structured visual insights into its adjustment analysis and provide users with a more complete understanding of the properties being evaluated," Restb.ai President of Valuations Tony Pistilli said.

Antares Labs launched publicly this week with $7.25 million in seed funding. The proptech has also unveiled an AI platform designed to help real estate owner-operators build company-specific artificial intelligence tools for investment, leasing and operations, according to a news release. "We embed directly with our clients to build AI around strategic capabilities that move the needle," CEO Noaman Ahmad said. "The output isn't a report or vendor to manage. It's intelligence that lives inside their business, owned by them, and gets smarter daily."
