Editor's note: The brokerage business is a busy one, with frequent moves, mergers and milestones. Here we highlight some of the latest activity among brokerages across the U.S.
$50M Denver team joins Compass
The Harris Team Denver, led by Brian Harris and Jamie Harris, has joined Compass after 28 years with Kentwood Real Estate, adding an established luxury team to the brokerage's Denver Tech Center office.
The team was recognized by the Denver Board of Realtors as the No. 5 top-producing partnership in the Denver metro area in 2025, according to a news release, and has recorded nearly $50 million in sales volume over the past year.
The team focuses on luxury homes in Cherry Hills Village and Greenwood Village, along with central Denver neighborhoods including Washington Park, Platt Park and Bonnie Brae. Their services include coordinating property preparation, repairs, contractors and staging for sellers.
Compass' technology and marketing platform were key factors in the decision to move, according to the team's leaders.
After nearly three decades with the same brokerage, "the decision to leave wasn't taken lightly," the Harris' said. "We see Compass as a visionary brokerage and one that provides the support to propel us to the future."
ERA 'the clear choice' for Arkansas-based indie
Collier & Associates, an independent brokerage serving northwest Arkansas and southern Missouri, has joined the ERA Real Estate network, adding about 260 agents across Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma to the franchise system.
Founded in 2014 by Stuart Collier, the brokerage operates multiple offices in Arkansas — including locations in Fayetteville, Rogers and Farmington — and one in Neosho, Missouri. Its agents work across residential and commercial transactions, new construction, investment properties, land and corporate relocation, with the firm's Fayetteville headquarters positioned near employers that generate relocation activity.
The affiliation gives Collier & Associates access to ERA's technology, marketing and training resources, including MoxiWorks, Team ERA University and consumer-facing programs like TextERA. The firm plans to make the most of the ERA and Compass International Holdings networks to expand referral and relocation opportunities for its affiliated agents.
In deciding on how to grow next, the firm's "priority was uniting with a brand that could help us deliver more resources, more opportunities and more growth for our agents without compromising our culture," Collier said in a news release, adding that ERA emerged as "the clear choice."
HomeServices adds mortgage servicing
HomeServices of America is expanding its mortgage company, Prosperity Home Mortgage, to include mortgage servicing, extending its integrated offering beyond loan origination and closing.
Prosperity Home Mortgage originates nearly $9 billion in loans annually across an estimated 21,000 transactions, according to a news release. Its new capability will allow HomeServices to maintain an ongoing connection with homeowners after their mortgages close, with new servicing functions covering routine mortgage needs while keeping those relationships within the broader HomeServices network.
The offering joins other services on the brokerage company's unified OnePoint platform, which launched in April and connects residential brokerage with mortgage, title and escrow, insurance and other homeownership services, the company said.
"Adding this service gives us the ability to remain connected to the families we help finance and deliver a more consistent experience throughout their homeownership journey," President and CEO of Prosperity Home Mortgage Justin Messer said. Moving forward, clients will be able to "remain connected to an organization and a network of professionals they already know and trust."
