Brokerages are vibe coding now. Here's how to make sure it scales.
Brokerages are vibe coding now. Not all of them — but enough that it's a real pattern.
The most tech-forward teams and some of the largest brokerages in the country are experimenting seriously with AI: building their own assistants, spinning up workflows, putting real budget behind custom in-house systems. All pretty exciting stuff! And the instinct is right. Brokerages should be able to design exactly how they operate, build it into a system and have it run across their entire agent population.
Getting that to actually work at scale is where most people are underestimating what it takes.
The AI powering any workflow is only as capable as the data behind it. A system built on a few months of activity from a single brokerage produces genuinely different results than one trained on trillions of data points across hundreds of thousands of agents. Add in the compliance and governance architecture that has to work correctly when the system is touching real transaction data at volume, and the gap between a promising prototype and something that performs reliably gets wider fast. I dig into this more in a recent LinkedIn article — including a framework I've been calling the 25/50/25 — but the short version is that most brokerages are pouring energy into the creative middle and underinvesting in the foundation and mobilization layers that determine whether any of it actually performs.
We built Streams around a pretty exciting idea: What if brokerages could have all of that creative control, with infrastructure underneath it that was already proven at scale?
Streams has hit 30,000 downloads, and the agents using it are showing up in a completely different way — 6x more calls, 3x more texts, 25% more engagement on weekends, including from agents who were barely opening their CRM before. When you see numbers like that, you know you've built something that fits how people actually work.
Agents using Streams App aren't working harder. They have a system that already knows what to do next and puts it in front of them at the right moment.
Next up → Streams Studio
This is what I'm most excited to talk about right now.
Streams Studio lets a brokerage describe what it wants its operation to look like — how leads get handled, how agents get coached, how follow-up runs, how recruiting flows — and builds the workflows with them in plain language. It connects to whatever tools agents are already using, any CRM, any stack, so everything works together without asking anyone to start from scratch.
The compliance architecture, data governance and security infrastructure running underneath are already built and proven across hundreds of thousands of agents. Brokerages using Streams Studio get to focus on building the operation they actually want to run. Everything underneath it is already handled.
Streams Studio is in early access right now with an invite-only cohort of top teams and brokerages, with broader access rolling out soon. If you want to get in early, apply here — https://launch.streamsplatform.ai/ — and stay tuned in the coming weeks as we'll be hosting a webinar to dive into the full scope of what Streams has to offer.
Happy building!
