CRMLS launches customizable REcore Workspace platform
California Regional Multiple Listing Service (CRMLS) has launched REcore Workspace, a redesigned platform that gives real estate professionals a customizable hub for accessing data, managing business functions and navigating workflows.
The platform evolved from REcenterhub, which CRMLS introduced in 2023 as a centralized access point for its systems, and later became REcore.
REcore Workspace expands those earlier functions and allows agents to adapt the platform as their needs and technologies change. Information is organized in a modular interface that agents can tailor to their workflows by rearranging resources, adjusting layouts and resizing tools, according to a news release.
"Agents need to keep track of a lot of moving parts in their day-to-day, so we've been pursuing a way to simplify things for our users for a while now," CRMLS CEO Art Carter said in the announcement.
"The original vision for REcore was to bring the tools and information MLS users rely on into one environment," REcore Solutions Chief Revenue Officer Katie Smithson said in a news release. "REcore Workspace takes that vision further by creating an experience centered not only on access, but on helping users stay focused, take action and move their work forward."
Redfin partners with Winnie on childcare data
Redfin is adding childcare information to its for-sale home listings through a partnership with Winnie, giving home shoppers another way to evaluate the day-to-day considerations of a potential move, according to a news release. The information is available now on Redfin's desktop and mobile websites, with an app rollout planned for later this year.
The integration displays nearby daycare and preschool options, including distance, reviews, financial aid availability and staff certifications. These additions follow new Redfin research suggesting housing and childcare costs for one child account for 52% of the median U.S. household income, the company said. Costs vary significantly by market, with the two expenses consuming nearly a full household income in some large metros.
The childcare data joins other neighborhood and property information available on Redfin listings, including weather data, Sunscore, climate risk information, Walk Score, Transit Score and Bike Score. The company said this newest feature is intended to help families weigh childcare costs and logistics alongside housing considerations.
Atlas VMS expands in Texas with acquisition
Atlas VMS has acquired First Appraisal Management (FAM), an appraiser-owned residential appraisal management company that has "built its reputation on deep local market expertise and long-standing relationships with lender and broker clients" across Texas, the companies announced.
FAM clients are poised to gain access to Atlas LoanShield, the company's appraisal warranty program, and AIM-Port, its enterprise order management platform, while retaining their local teams. Meanwhile, FAM Managing Partner Nicole Bookout has been named executive vice president of appraisal operations at Atlas VMS as part of the deal. Bookout, who previously led FAM's appraisal operations in Houston, will oversee appraisal operations across Atlas VMS while continuing to work with existing clients and appraisers.
"Joining Atlas VMS gives us the platform and resources to support that work at a larger scale, while keeping the local, hands-on approach clients already count on," Bookout said in a news release.
Atlas said the acquisition will support its expansion in Texas by combining FAM's local relationships with its own technology, resources and national reach.

Opendoor has announced that it is expanding cash offers to Realtor.com at a time when this kind of offer "matters even more" amid a housing market "with fewer cash buyers" and "more deals falling through," Opendoor Chief Growth Officer Morgan Brown said in a company blog post. Home sellers can explore the option by entering their address on Realtor.com's My Home dashboard to "see what Opendoor will pay," the post explained. The announcement follows the iBuyer's May unveiling of its partnership with RealScout and the closing last month of its acquisition of Doma's closing and escrow services.
ATTOM is expanding ATTOM Intelligence with an enhanced MCP Server and three AI agents designed to help organizations query, analyze and report on property data through natural language. The Property & Place Insights Agent answers questions about individual properties, parcels, neighborhoods and places, while the Data Analyst Agent supports market analysis, portfolio comparisons and housing trend research. A Report Generation Agent turns ATTOM property data into customer-ready reports incorporating property characteristics, valuations, comparable sales, maps and neighborhood insights, according to a news release.
Knock has expanded its Knock Bridge Loan to Texas, giving qualifying homeowners a way to use equity in their current home toward the purchase of their next one. Unlike traditional bridge loans, the Knock Bridge Loan removes the existing home from the new mortgage qualification calculation, the company said, which can help buyers increase their purchasing power and make offers without a contingency to sell their existing home. With this expansion into Texas, Knock now has operations in 32 states, as well as in Washington, D.C.
