Real REMAX Group leadership team continues to take shape
The acquisition, which shareholders voted to advance on Aug. 14, could close as soon as Aug. 24, with several C-suite positions revealed in recent SEC filings.
As The Real Brokerage's acquisition of REMAX Holdings speeds toward final approval, the future combined company — which will operate as Real REMAX Group — is beginning to take shape, with a few new leaders introduced at an event earlier this week.
The companies also disclosed additional details about changes to its leadership and board of directors in recent SEC filings.
The leaders of Real REMAX Group: When the deal was first announced in April, Real Chairman and CEO Tamir Poleg said he will serve as the combined company's CEO.
This week at the 2026 REMAX Broker Owner Conference, it was also announced that Jenna Rozenblat, Real's current chief operating officer, will be president of Real REMAX Group.
Several social media posts by Broker Owner Conference attendees indicated that Amy Somerville will serve as chief operating officer. Somerville previously spent 16 years at REMAX, holding several leadership positions before leaving the company in 2018. Poleg also appeared to reference Somerville's return during the event, according to a recording obtained by Real Estate News.
In a 6-K form filed with the SEC on Aug. 6, Real identified five other individuals who are expected to hold executive leadership positions at the combined company if the transaction closes as expected. They include:
Ravi Jani, CFO. Jani has been Real's CFO since mid-2025.
Pritesh Damani, chief technology officer. Damani has been Real's chief technology officer since late 2021.
Abigail Lee, chief marketing officer. Lee was named REMAX's chief marketing officer earlier this year.
Alexandra Lumpkin, chief legal officer. Lumpkin joined Real in early 2023 and serves as the company's vice president, chief legal officer and secretary.
Leah Jenkins, chief accounting officer. Jenkins has been REMAX's chief accounting officer since mid-2023.
Don Kottick, currently the president of REMAX Canada, is also slated to retain a leadership role within the new company, according to an internal email obtained by Real Estate Magazine. Real Estate News has not independently verified the letter's contents.
Who will be on the new board? Another 6-K form filed on Aug. 6 listed 10 anticipated directors of the new Real REMAX Group's board. The list includes Poleg and Erik Carlson, who has served as CEO at REMAX since late 2023 and is expected to step down from that role once the deal closes.
The other named board members include Vikki Bartholomae, Guy Gamzu, Norman Jenkins, Larry Klane, Ken Pozek, Cathleen Raffaeli, Laurence Rose and Susanne Greenfield Sandler.
Sharran Srivatsaa, Real's former president who joined the company's board when he left his post in mid-2025, will serve as director emeritus, according to the 6-K, but he "will not be a Real REMAX Group Director and will not serve on the Real REMAX Group Board in an official capacity," the filing clarified.
Who else at REMAX is leaving? Earlier this week, REMAX President Chris Lim and EVP of Strategy Travis Saxton announced that they will not continue on with the combined company. Both have been with REMAX since early 2025, with Lim initially joining as chief growth officer before adding the president title in February.
According to the email obtained by Real Estate Magazine, several other REMAX executives will not be staying on. Those reportedly include Karri Callahan, chief financial officer; Tom Flanagan, chief digital information officer; Rob Fuchs, chief human resources officer; Susie Winders, chief legal and compliance officer; and Vic Lombardo, president of mortgage services.
Real Estate News has reached out to REMAX for comment.
What happens next? Following shareholders' Aug. 14 vote in favor of the acquisition and the Supreme Court of British Columbia's decision to clear the deal on Aug. 21, the transaction is expected to close by Aug. 24, pending other customary closing conditions.
