The company says Zillow AI mode will help consumers navigate questions early in the home search process, freeing up agents to focus on high-value work.

Days after launching, Zillow’s pre-market listings product has added 24 new partners in what CEO Jeremy Wacksman described as a “signal from the industry.”

Alongside its March 17 launch of Zillow Preview, the company published updated, more flexible listing rules to reflect the “reality” of “the listing landscape.”

The industry’s largest brokerage had sued the home search site over its Listings Access Standards, which conflict with Compass’ marketing approach.

The MLS-friendly product will launch with Keller Williams, HSoA, REMAX, Side and United Real Estate, offering leads and financial incentives to listing agents.

In a March 11 filing, Zillow reiterated a request to pause the Taylor case. Meanwhile, five Gibson deals were appealed; Anywhere settlement approved in Tuccori.

The Taylor case, filed in September 2025, claims Zillow Flex agents are pushed to steer clients to Zillow Home Loans — allegations the home search giant denies.

A real estate agent in Washington state filed a class-action case claiming she and her team were penalized after refusing to refer clients to Zillow Home Loans.

Real Broker, LLC, a subsidiary of Real Brokerage, was added as a defendant in the Taylor case, which has accused Zillow of RESPA violations.

A disputed report, which received funding from Zillow competitor CoStar, found that ZHL borrowers paid more than those who used other lenders between 2022-2024.

Instead of opposing the transfer, CoStar General Counsel Gene Boxer said the company is looking forward to “holding Zillow to account in its own backyard.”

The home search site is pointing users elsewhere for climate risk info, a move it says aligns with “varying” MLS rules. But what those rules are is not clear.

The Federal Trade Commission and five states claim a rental listings partnership formed by the two companies earlier this year violates antitrust laws.

In their closing arguments, attorneys for the two companies addressed claims of collusion, harm to Compass and more. Now a judge will decide what happens next.
